Human Rights Education Centre - Southern Africa is a joint initiative between the centre and Community Healing Network working as a Not for Profit  organisation(NPO). We work on  Human Rights Education  related to the following themes:
  • Gender, Women, Men, Youth, Children, Economic and Socio Cultural Rights, Discrimination, Xenophobia, Multiculturalism and others related campaigns and relevant to our context.
  • Community Healing, Holistic Transformation and Development 
  • Human Rights Education methodology using popular education such case studies, role plays, theatre, drama, dance, music, songs, storytelling etc.
  • Planning, monitoring, evaluation and reflection  - action and reflection. 

Cofounders of  the Human Rights Education Centre are community activists  who had been previously linked to Amnesty International South Africa, University of Witwatersrand Education Rights Project, Training for Transformation, Cooperatives Association and other civil society organisations. REFERENCE GROUP
